D3CRYPT3D selected as finalist for SXSW Innovation Award

After only six months of being in existence, an Atlanta, Georgia based startup is being recognized for its strides in innovation.

PADECA LLC. and their product D3CRYPT3D has been chosen as a finalist for the SXSW 2017 Interactive Innovation Awards, a program designed to recognize and celebrate the unique tech developments around the world.

D3CRYPT3D has been nominated in the category of Privacy & Security.

According to SXSW, finalists in the Privacy & Security category are picked based on being the “most progressive accomplishment in the way we go about securing our data and ensuring our privacy.”

“Being part of a startup, it’s never fully possible to know if your idea is something worthwhile, unique, or revolutionary” said Chloe Kettell, Co-founder of PADECA LLC. “When our team received our nomination email by SXSW we were elated to see that our ideas and being recognized by the industry.”

What did the PADECA team do to get national recognition for D3CRYPT3D?

“Grassroots. Pure and simple” Said co-founder Dosa Kim. “We took to the forums and found our audience through forums and research. This led to some amazing conversations and notoriety amongst 3D enthusiasts and artists.”

Winners will be announced for this year’s 20th annual ceremony on Tuesday, March 14 in Austin, TX.
